Summary/Abstract: The book Homo experimentalis consists of a set of essays, observations and experiments that represent a way of forming an approach and thinking about a relevant social phenomenon before and during its systematic study. In our work, we used the basic sociological method of sociological imagination, presenting and analyzing relevant phenomena in the form of a sociological diary and sociological analysis of professional texts. Although we will deal with the geography of the essay in more detail a little later, for now let us mention that the geography of the content has a double meaning. Firstly, it is limited by the locations where the researcher stayed, and secondly, but not necessarily, by the relevant project. Project boundaries for formal reasons (project goals) and informal ones (flexibility of the project manager) often mean that some of the researcher's original observations remain beyond the reach of systematic research or, worse, are completely unrecorded. Another reason for the last problem is the almost completely forgotten keeping of a (personal) research diary. This study therefore provides insight into one way in which relevant social phenomena and relationships can be recorded and potentially investigated.
