Summary/Abstract: This paper is a continuation of the paper Active and Cohesive, published in January 2006. It included an evaluation of the situation before the election and a number of suggestions concerning EU policy towards Belarus. Most of those suggestions are still topical. This report focuses on what happened during the six months that followed the presidential election in Belarus. This text also constitutes an attempt to predict a course of events in Belarus as well as in Russian and EU policy towards this country in the next year.
