Summary/Abstract: The migrant-refugee crisis, by its scope, the challenges it brings with it, and the political consequences, as well as the consequences on the application and validity of international standards in the field of human rights protection, certainly represents one of the most important global and regional crises in the world and Europe, after the Second World War. The consequences of war conflicts in the Middle East have affected the destinies of millions of people, many of whom seek refuge in European countries, primarily in EU countries.
