Summary/Abstract: The document represents the result of research conducted in 2012 and consists of two parts: a) analysis of existing analytical documents related to the competence and capacities of local self-government units (LGUs) and civil society organizations (CSOs) in the implementation of regulations and policies in the field of the environment and b) research by surveying, i.e. interviewing representatives of LGUs, CSOs and economic entities (PS) on how they assess capacities (problems, needs, opportunities, further activities, etc.) in the implementation of policies and regulations in the field of environment environment. The document presents the results of this research.
