Summary/Abstract: The project "I KNOW HOW TO ACT" (KnowHow2Act) is implemented in partnership by the European Movement in Serbia, the Belgrade Open School, the Center for the Development of Civil Society PROTECTA and UNECOOP, with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway in Belgrade. The goal of the project is to improve and increase the participation of civil society organizations in decision-making processes in the area of environmental protection at the local level in the process of European integration, through a training program aimed at strengthening the capacity of civil society organizations. The analysis provides an assessment of the competences and capacities of local self-government units (LGUs), as well as the capacities and roles of civil society organizations (CSOs) and business entities (PS) in the field of environment in the context of harmonization of national regulations with EU regulations and their implementation.
