Summary/Abstract: Peace, cooperation and good neighborly relations are prerequisites for the economic development of the region and of each country individually. Cross-border cooperation is necessary for Serbia in many segments - development, infrastructural, economic... At the same time, regional cooperation is a prerequisite for faster integration of the countries of the region into the European Union, which does not want to import unresolved disputes. The EU has financed cross-border cooperation from IPA funds, but the potential and resources have not yet been sufficiently utilized. In order to achieve common goals as effectively and efficiently as possible with available funds, it is necessary that potential users of funds and project holders are familiar with all available financial instruments.
