Summary/Abstract: Whenever we experience anxiety due to an excess of information, when we suffer through an overabundance of stimuli or lose confidence in science, we experience life in a post-truth world. In this world, myths emerge that restore our sense of agency and control over our own lives. This book is dedicated not only to humanists and the medical community but also to anyone seeking answers to the causes of the crisis of modern science. It presents data collected during research during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the conclusions of its analysis indicate the cause of the functioning of the anti-medical discourse, which includes some alternative medicine movements, the anti-vaccination movement and medical deniers.
