Summary/Abstract: The Department for Strategic Analysis and Security Integration, as part of the Institute for Strategic Research, among other things, prepares strategic analyses and security assessments, as well as proposals for practical policy intended for decision-makers in the defense system. The Department assesses the degree of vulnerability, risk, and threat to the security of the Republic of Serbia; analyzes processes and factors in international relations on which the security and international position of the Republic of Serbia depend; investigates ways of Serbia's accession and engagement in international security organizations; participates in scientific research projects of related institutions in the country and abroad; prepares and implements scientific and expert meetings in the field of security and defense; participates in the implementation of the educational process at the Military Academy and during training in the Serbian Armed Forces; prepares books and journals for publication and produces scientific and informative documentation.
