Summary/Abstract: This study is an attempt to identify, describe and explain the basic determinants of the state of modern Serbian society and the modern Serbian state, as well as the basic trends of the development of Serbia, to point out the need for the public, the profession and the political leadership of Serbia to engage in strategic planning for the sustainable development of Serbia. Therefore, this study does not offer closed answers or impose positions that justify and argue.
