Summary/Abstract: The content of this manual will enable readers to recognize the AMUNATCOLL IT system, which consists of a database of natural history collections (over 2 million records of plants, animals and fungi) and a portal with many functionalities for working with these data. Additionally, the system includes a mobile application that allows users to collect their own observations during field survey and compare them with records of the AMUNATCOLL database. Through the course proposed in the manual, readers will be able to learn AMUNATCOLL tools and data, but first of all, discover their practical application in education and conservation biology.
