- Summary/Abstract:The preparation and training systems for assuming roles of a spiritual nature (artistic, religious), but not only, have assumed, throughout history, paideic foreshadowings that are completely different, more flexible, less formalized, more particularized and full of affective-subjective effervescence than those institutionalized, formalized at school or university level. Not that the latter were not also intended for an explicit vocational-spiritual training, but, at a given time and from certain points of view, the official educational offers were not able to face challenges regarding formation of special skills required by the practices in mind. In fact, in artistic or religious environments, these training formulas prefaced what happens now in what we generically call school, schooling, learning, but they continued to function simultaneously and supplement what education cannot do. In the text below, we propose to present specific elements of the mentoring relationship in spiritual formation and to emphasize the relevance and opportunity of promoting this paideic relationship.

- Summary/Abstract:The aim of the modern methodology of teaching Romanian language and literature at a younger school age is for students to become as independent as possible in the process of acquiring knowledge. Bearing this in mind, the authors emphasize the importance of the problematic process of processing a literary work on the example of the folk tale Three Friends, the application of which enables a more successful experience and understanding of literary texts, different forms of interpretation and creative expression in children of younger school age. The problem-based approach to the interpretation of literary texts engages the individual and creative abilities of students to the highest degree, which leads to an easier solution to the problem situation. The final part of the paper presents the results of the conducted research on the attitudes of students of younger school age who attend classes in the Romanian mother tongue, after the application of the problem-based procedure in the processing of the folk tale.

- Summary/Abstract:The claim of morality in the existence of individuals and groups is a natural constant of all times. The materialization of moral conduct requires both subjective instances established at the level of each individual (such as moral conscience) and external benchmarks. The present study finds out the diversity and complementarity of external sources for optimizing the regulation of moral agents’ actions: regulatory documents (such as codes of ethics/ deontology/ codes of conduct or behaviour), individuals or groups of individuals responsible for supervising/ supporting the moral and ethical quality of professional activities (such as ethics counselors or ethics committees), institutions and their actions. In addition, the study points out the characteristics of some sources of optimization, respectively, of the ethics counselor, integrity advisor, the ombudsman, according to the provisions of the Romanian legislation. The components shown are also relevant to the sphere of educational action.

- Summary/Abstract:In our study, The Role of the Didactic Methods in teaching Religion, Traditionally and Online, we wish to emphasize the importance and the impact that these didactic instruments have in the process of teaching, learning and assessment of Religion. The didactic means focus on the development of the educational process on a psychological and pedagogical level, so that the information transmitted and assimilated to become enriched with the help of the material forms, which are in agreement with the pedagogical function of the element, to connect the theory with the reality, to give life to the word on an imaginative level and to help the cognitive process on an intuitive and deductive level. This aspect impresses to the manner of use several operational features which refer to the level of efficiency and value given to teaching, which means that the didactic methods are not used only to be written in a didactic plan, to enrich the class environment or to just fill the surface of the dais.

- Summary/Abstract:The present work includes a synthesis in the light of the Christian-Orthodox teaching of the essential role of the Holy Liturgy in supporting religious-moral life at all ages. In the light of the texts of the Holy Scriptures and of the Holy Fathers, perfection is the essential goal of human life, the fulfillment of Christ's sacrifice on the Cross. Perfection is possible for every man, as an effort to assume the quality of son of God, for whom the Word became incarnate. The relevant texts were used to understand the importance of the Holy Liturgy and to highlight the way in which the Eucharist is a way and a school, the person's chance for self-discovery and permanent elevation towards the Father.

- Summary/Abstract:Parental burnout (PB) has increasingly attracted the attention of social workers, family counsellors, epidemiologists, doctors, educators, psychiatrists, psychologists, and sociologists over the past 15 years. The reason is simple: if we can quit our job position because we are affected by career / job / occupational / professional burnout, we cannot resign as a parent. From a social work perspective, we are particularly interested in history and risk factors of PB, in the conceptualization of PB, in the consequences of PB, in gender differences in PB, in the assessment of the degree of PB, in the biological and cultural factors related to PB, in the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic on PB, in the nature of PB, in the prevention of PB, in the relationship between PB and career / job / occupational / professional burnout, in the stages of PB and in the treatment of PB.

- Summary/Abstract:Taking an overview of the context in which we live our lives, we can easily observe that we are constantly facing the challenges of a changing world. Particularly in the case of young people, we notice prominent differences, primarily because they belong to the generation of modern technology and the virtual world. We are witnessing a rapid transition from face-to-face human interactions to the digital universe, through the use of tablets and smartphones, where time and space take on new meanings, and interpersonal relationships may not be as effective and transparent. The religious aspect justifies its importance within the spectrum of educational sciences by addressing the need for meaning in life, which in turn contributes to a sense of security and self-esteem as a protective factor for individuals. In the current context, marked by cultural and religious diversity, religious sensitivity in education prepares the younger generations to transcend their own boundaries. It becomes a gateway to understanding religious diversity and the experiences that stem from it.

- Summary/Abstract:My paper intends to illustrate a possible didactic scenario of how to teach The Subjunctive Mood to international students enrolled in the academic program entitled „The Preparatory Year of Romanian Language for Foreign Citizens” at Bucharest University of Economic Studies. The study is the partial result of teaching the „Practical Course of Romanian: Phonetics, Vocabulary and Sentence Structures” for about 9 academic years. This is part of a wider research, now in progress, as I am working on a Practical Romanian Grammar Book for Foreigners. I do believe that after The Present Tense in Romanian, the Subjunctive Mood is considered to be the 2nd most difficult tense in Romanian language, by foreign students, although there is a close grammatical connection between these 2 verbal tenses aspects. I can say for sure that knowing very well the Present Tense in Romanian ensures in the same time a good acquirement for the students of the Subjunctive Mood too. Of course, the peculiar grammatical aspects for the 3rd singular and plural person are to be mentioned and exemplified.

- Summary/Abstract:Creationism is the biblical teaching that God created the heavens and the earth, bringing everything into concrete existence through His creative Word and will. Through this creative act, God shows that Creation has its principle and purpose in God, making Him transparent. All varieties of birds were created from water. The expression "after their kind" is used only when life is being built, in the last three days of Creation, to understand that God, during this interval, built all living creatures on earth. This expression means that the type of animal is preserved by reproduction, which entitles us to say that the species did not evolve but remained the same. The noun "kind", "type", "classification", "species" shows there are fixed types or classifications. It is true that, within genetic limits, animals can evolve, but one species cannot transform into another. The main causes of the theory of biological evolution: natural selection and mutations eliminate from its assumptions the existence of a Creator. In arguing with evolutionists, creationists point out that for a flightless animal to become "flying", almost every anatomical structure would require changes, a theory that is not supported by any (fossil) evidence. Although we cannot fully understand the divine reason, Christians today can extract useful meaning from this creative action. Thus, we do not read them as myths, but try to value the sacred text and discover its divine message. Saint Ambrose shows that birds can provide "a parable for our living", because in them, "social and military leadership is natural", but in humans it is "forced and enslaved". The entire creation testifies to the Unity, Omnipotence and Wisdom of its Creator, which also manifests itself in the existence of a purpose for living beings, that of living, to offer oneself, which for man constitutes a path to salvation.

- Summary/Abstract:Starting from Spiru Haret’s statement, we, the teachers, are constantly concerned about the novelties that come on the education system and how we cope with the changes in the current society. When we think about the future of education, we wonder how we can prepare ourselves permanently but also how we can prepare our students/students to integrate into a constantly changing world. As the world becomes an increasingly interconnected place, we are challenged by new scenarios that require new knowledge and skills “multidimensional, transversal, polydisciplinary, transnational”. One of the main concerns of the school in the 21st century is to participate alongside other institutions in the formation of an active, democratic, multicultural society that promotes true values, more acceptance, tolerance, good understanding among people. In this regard, many educational institutions around the world have begun, in recent decades, to adopt educational policies that build support bridges between schools/universities and the community by promoting skills: “to learn to know,” “to learn to be,” “to learn to do,” “to learn to live with others.” Thus, service-learning pedagogy penetrates more and more into the Romanian education system, even if at times this type of pedagogy is viewed with mistrust by teachers or parents, who express fears that students “lose time” in the idea in which they have to take standardised exams where the emphasis is placed on memory and cognitive learning. Service-learning projects involve actions in the educational, but also social spheres, based on the notion that community and civic involvement can be innovative means of applying theoretical content, complementing the range of competences and skills and modifying attitudes. These projects are led by students and allow collaboration between educational institutions and the community through the active participation of students in solving concrete problems of the current society.

- Summary/Abstract:Adolescence is a stage of development, in which important physical and mental changes occur, it is a very delicate transition phase, which marks the transition from childhood to adulthood and which brings with it a series of challenges, either for the adolescent or for those around. In the process of transformation from child to adult, the adolescent seeks a balance in the originality crisis he is going through. The family, with its own resources and uncertainties, is the privileged area of development and care of the adolescent, it is the safe base where the adolescent will return in times of need. The article proposes a presentation of adolescence with all the bio-psycho-social characteristics it entails, in order to facilitate communication and relationships with people in this stage of life.

- Keywords:backward design; curriculum; assessment; active learning experience;
- Summary/Abstract:The underlying principle of the present paper is the active learning supported by various strategies, methods and techniques for empowering students to develop their critical thinking and participate in directing their own knowledge acquisition. In this sense, backward course design creates the illustrative framework for an innovative pedagogy by planning assessment first, then the learning experience and teaching activities, having in view the main goal, i.e. students' understanding of the big ideas (the moral of the story of the course/learning unit), which can then be autonomously transferred to other real-world learning contexts. The basic rationale of this paper is to present the instructional model of backward course design of learning experiences, highlighting assessment modalities. To construct an authentic assessment, we employed with the students at our university the GRASPS model, a form of assessment that engages learners to use their thinking skills and demonstrate the application of essential knowledge, conceptual understanding and skills acquired throughout a unit of learning.

- Keywords:Pragmatics; speech act; apology; textbook; RFL;
- Summary/Abstract:The field of research in which this study falls is that of “sociocultural pragmatics”, which focuses on the influence of external factors (social and cultural) on the formulation and interpretation of linguistic forms. We opted for the speech act of apology, given the role that expressive speech acts have in the dynamics of interpersonal relationships. The need to investigate the speech act of the apology is given by its role in restoring the imbalance that can occur in human interaction, the apology being the means that can determine the “saving” of interactions and relationships between interlocutors. The corpus of the research is extracted from several textbooks of RFL as the pragmatic trend has been very successful in teaching foreign languages, the notion of speech act being present in the textbooks, and the communicative approach representing a sine qua non condition for learning a language foreign. The theoretical approach is based on the theory of speech acts of the American philosophers Austin and Searle and the verbal interaction studies of the French linguist Kerbrat-Orecchioni.

- Summary/Abstract:Starting from the social transformations and directions, we accept, volens nolens, that technology has long sat down at the teacher’s desk. We have also grown accustomed that its teaching strategy has nothing to do with the former classical teaching style anymore, no matter how modern it has become with its new teaching methods. So, regardless of its practical form (TV lesson, distance learning through different platforms), learning takes more and more practical and pragmatic shapes. It tends not to represent a complex formation which generates intellectual, cultural, moral abilities anymore, but a kit of competences, seemingly independent from the fundamental human values. Traditionally, learning takes place thanks to human interaction. Presently it seems to lose its constitutive elements and to proclaim bombastically the supremacy of the digital world that asks to be reified, trusted by heart; a surrogate with a trademark status. Will learning represent an intellectual effort, an effort of originality, competence and consequently of value, or will it sit comfortably in an „effort” of searching, juxtaposition and conformation to the immediate imperatives? In other words: brainly or library, seminar/debate/maieutics or chat GBT?

- Summary/Abstract:Multigrade classes operate in demographically and geographically disadvantaged areas, characterized by a small number of students. The biggest challenge is to implement the curriculum developed for monograde classes in multigrade classes. In the absence of appropriate training and the necessary resources, the quality of the teaching process decreases. This paper presents concrete ways to optimize this type of teaching, identified following the application of a questionnaire to170 teachers of different specializations, with experience in this field. The results indicate that the teaching experience in multigrade classes significantly influences the identification of concrete ways to optimize the didactic act carried out in this type of classes

- Summary/Abstract:In order to obtain information regarding the importance of carrying out moral education activities in kindergarten, of carrying out educational projects in this field, of approaching the curriculum for early education regarding the existence of elements of moral education or the need to introduce such a field, we interviewed eight kindergarten directors and two school inspectors for early education and religious discipline. Following the analysis and interpretation of the answers provided, it can be found that there is a great need to carry out moral education activities in kindergartens, all the executives interviewed consider that moral education is not given its rightful place, the first place, and in the curriculum for early education in force there are not enough examples of moral education activities. At the same time, the respondents provide examples of moral values that should be promoted among preschoolers, they support the importance of using the moral model within the activities and claim the urgent need to carry out educational projects at the national level, in the field of moral education. A fact highlighted by this interview is the need to regulate moral education in preschool education, by introducing this field in the curriculum, because at the moment the carrying out of this type of activities remains at the discretion of each individual educator.

- Summary/Abstract:Religious education is an important dimension of education that contributes to a child's development. Through religious education the child has the opportunity to know God. To facilitate the process of knowing God, the subject of religion has been introduced in schools. This subject is part of the common core curriculum and one hour a week is allocated to it. Religious education is carried out at school in every class, but in kindergarten things are different. At pre-school level, the study of the elements of religious education is carried out differently, depending on the teacher. Some teachers do not emphasise religious education at all, others do so by introducing elements of religious education into other activities. Another part of the teachers carry out extra-curricular activities for the implementation of religious education, while other teachers carry out religious education electives. Therefore, teachers' involvement in the delivery of religious education at pre-school level is carried out in different ways. The level of teacher involvement is very important for the successful delivery of religious education at pre-school level. The question that led to the research, which used a questionnaire as the main instrument, was how much teachers are involved in the religious education of pre-school children. The research found that teachers are differently involved in children's religious education and that the positive results in this respect are influenced by the way they act

- Summary/Abstract:During preschool education, children assimilate important acquisitions of communication with themselves and others using role play. Studies show that promoting communication and social skills in children at early ages can be achieved naturally through play in kindergarten. In this way, role-play becomes both a daily practice of communication for the child and an efficient teaching instrument in exploring all dimensions of child development in a holistic way. The literature also mentions some important functions of kindergarten games, such as the information function, the adaptation function, the formative function, the socialisation function and the psychological function.

- Summary/Abstract:In this analysis, we investigate whether the gaze is a simple ocular act or whether the eyes translate it, like a screen, into a two-sided act of subjectivity in relation to the Other. This can induce anxiety and shame in the disintegration of one's own universe, as highlighted by Sartre (eyes peering through the door frame, for fear of being seen in embarrassing poses); it can "touch" what it sees, taking place in a space of tangibility, as a palpation according to Merleau-Ponty; or it can be a call from the limits of the ego to the infinity of the Other, within an ethically grounded framework, as argued by Levinas. In the context of formal distance learning sessions, the act of looking is mediated by the webcam's "eye" – the webcam's pupil takes the place of the direct gaze, manifesting certain influences to both sides, observable in perspective. The teacher directs the gaze to the center of the frame, the circular center of the webcam which assimilates and transposes it onto the student's screen. The latter receives it in the absence of optical reciprocity, creating a unique situation where we look from one point on the screen, but are observed from all sides.

- Summary/Abstract:Exploiting the feeling of freedom and the sense of belonging to the society of knowledge pedagogically have determined, on the one hand, an unprecedented emergence of religious experiences in the sphere of informal and non-formal education in the Romanian society, starting from the spiritual recognition of the famous “abbots” or “gerontes” in Romanian or Athonite monasticism, but also in regular Orthodox churches, to the conjunctural role of all kinds of “guru” and “spiritual masters”, in the lives of many people with a religious conscience or simple spiritual zeal. This paper aims to identify the main actors in the Orthodox Church who are able to counteract, outside the family, the effects of self-referentiality and educational imposture – threatening silhouettes appearing on the horizon of the Romanian people’s education (either from communism or from consumerism), to denounce the political correctness and the mechanisms of manipulation or disorientation and, last but not least, to enhance the proportional support of the pedagogical role, the authority and immutable values disseminated, that the teachers of the nation and, above all, the teachers of the faith – the Religion teacher, the father confessor, the spiritual father, mother and brother – have in a person’s thinking, feeling and making decisions travelling through history, towards the eschaton.
