Summary/Abstract: Using a large number of domestic and foreign sources, the researchers revealed the main stages of formation of the government and opposition in Ukraine, determined the EU course of our states. Along with the analysis of political processes in Ukraine the authors of the monograph analyse the relationship between power and opposition in Russia, Belarus, Moldova other CIS countries and the Baltic States, East and West Europe. The challenges facing the contemporary Ukrainian authorities are analysed in the epilogue. This book is intended for researchers, social scientists, students and all who are interested in political problems of modern Ukraine.
