Summary/Abstract: The work presents study on coordinated and multiple views (CMV) geovisualisation tools, i.e., interactive tools consisting of several views presenting spatial data in various forms, including maps. The study covers both theoretical considerations and eye-tracking empirical study. Among other things, the author aimed to explore how inexperienced users learn and work with CMV geovisualization tools. On this basis, guidelines were formulated for CMV designers and authors of training materials supporting these tools.
