Summary/Abstract: This article aims to focus on how the illustrations to the well-known fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood interact with the text (in its various variations) in the Bulgarian editions of the twentieth century, what they emphasize, what they cover and how (or whether) our Artists manage to "translate" the universal story so that from a global point of view, it acquires a local meaning, to "speak" in the language of the Bulgarian reader / viewer.
