Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the life of Fr Lech Kasperowicz SDB who passed away in 2020. In years 1987–1992 he was parish priest and curator of the sanctuary in Skrzatusz. In this period he was directly responsible for preparation of the coronation ceremony of the statue of Our Lady of Sorrows. In the parish church and affiliate churches he carried out many repairs. During his ministry the life of the parish experienced a dynamic growth. He took care of the development of pilgrimage movement to Skrzatusz, prepared a logistic basis for the faithful coming to Skrzatusz. He was a founder and editor of a magazine Behold, thy Mother promoting the sanctuary. He initiated many formative initiatives, still present in Skrzatusz today.
