Summary/Abstract: In this article the author presents the dignities and offices held by theGlogoveni boyars over time. Some members of this family continued toparticipate in the life of the country after 1482. They have met numerousofficials and functions as Cerneţi captain, same district of Gorj, Mehedinţi,Vâlcea and Scăieni the Court of Appeal Craiova judge, prefect of Gorj, Ilfovsenator. All these officials and functions they fulfill in the political and social, fornobles accounted Glogoveni not just a means of enrichment, but gave them acertain prestige and authority in society in relation with the general population.
