Summary/Abstract: The present paper aims to synthesize the study of the Roman-Byzantine ceramic material from Doborgea published from Vasile Pârvan until 2009, reflecting the current state of publication of this category of material, bringing together about 3000 pottery shards. Starting from this reality, and in the absence of fabric analyzes, it is clear that we cannot speak of any definitive conclusions and that they will undergo changes as other ceramic batches are published. By publishing the conclusions of the phd dissertation The Roman Pottery from the 6th Century on the Lower Danube. Statistical and Functional Study with a Special View on Dobrogea, which is also being published soon, we intend to facilitate online access to the database that was the support of the approach in question: (http:// cercetariarheologice.ro/materials/ca28.2.13/CEROM.zip).
