Summary/Abstract: In the pharmaceutical industry, the power of personal data is maximized to improve the efficiency and success of clinical trials, also for the effective marketing and marketing of products such as cosmetics, food supplements or medical devices. The processing of the personal data is necessary to ensure and maintain a link with the authorization holder / notifier, in order to remedy potential inconsistencies regarding the notified products. However, the principle of data minimization must be taken very seriously into consideration in this process, and the authorities must implement coherent compliance programs with the application of appropriate technical and organizational measures.
