Summary/Abstract: The NGOs and voluntary organizations are integrative part of the associative-philanthropy sector. The domain of this sector is very large within the society, being extended to all activity areas of individuals’ life, so that we can say that it is absolutely necessary and indispensable for life and the wellness of the entire society. Supporting and encouraging NGOs’ activity in the associative sector would increase its strength and utility; it would discover and make viable new levers of social intervention in the fight against poverty. The present paper tries to open a debate about the activity of NGO sector and its place in finding solutions to the present social problems.
