Summary/Abstract: The text proposes an abstract model for types of transformations of the actor’s self. This model is presented geometrically with schemes of rotations. There are movements both to a circuit where the actor’s self seeks to acquire and even overlap with some other’s identity – with the one of a dramatis personae or reaching other levels of reality of his/her own “I”, and in the opposite trajectory where the rotation shows how his/her personality is gradually taken away and the actor becomes a pure art figure (Kunstfigur) on the stage. The schemes are displayed through emblematic theatrical figures and stage approaches.
