Summary/Abstract: This article is the second instalment of our study into the social conditions of the formation and transformation of residential architecture in the medieval Trogir. The first part used the thirteenth-century sources to examine the physical location of social groups within the city and the role of these groups in the development of the urban community.335 This essay analyses the same processes in the fourteenth century, using sources that contain information on the real estate and their proprietors, as well as on the social structure of the medieval Trogir. The key role in the urban transformation was played by powerful patrician families, their internal conflicts and political shifts.
