Summary/Abstract: The article is an analysis of the content and form of the edition of Zygmunt Klukowski’s diaries and memoirs. It presents both their author’s personage and comments on the credibility of the information contained in his notes, regarding, for example, the achievements and failures of the Second Polish Republic, Polish-Jewish relations during the Second World War, the Holocaust and banditry within the Polish independence underground after the war.
