Summary/Abstract: The 136-year-old building of the Transylvanian Hungarian Public Cultural Association, that was inherited from László Szabédi’s sister, became the Szabédi Memorial House since 1996, and the donation included the writer’s literary archive. Since then, many archives arrived at the memorial house, including the archive of Pál Bodor (also known as Diurnus), a writer, poet, translator, and journalist. Processing his legacy can contribute to a more accurate understanding of the history of Hungarian society in Romania over the past 60 years. In addition, the archive constitutes a possible source for monographs, for the development of institutional strategies, and also an opportunity for young intellectuals to initiate research projects.
