Summary/Abstract: The article analyses the information on the Bulgarian Boys’ High School ‘Sts. Cyril and Methodius’ in Salonica (Thessaloniki) which the author has found in the Russian state archives, mainly in the Archive of the Foreign Policy of the Russian Empire and the State Archive of the Russian Federation. It presents types of documents that refer to different aspects of the activities of the school or the participation of Russian diplomacy in it. The study analyzes the information about the educational activities of the Bulgarian community in Salonica, sent to the Asian Department, as well as the attitude of the Russian diplomatic representatives to the Bulgarian high school in Salonica.
