Summary/Abstract: From paleograhically-diplomatic analysis of Latin Bosnian medieval documents we can seee that then-Latin language and alphabet is not much different from the then Central European and Italian Latin literacy centers mainly on Gothic or bilingual script (Bosnian Cyrillic and Latin and Cyrillic), either in the conception of diplomatic protocol, context and protocols, and the type and form of the abbreviation. The largest number of Latin medieval Bosnian charters, in addition to documents Bosnian rulers and royalty, has been preserved from the correspondence that the papal office had with local community leaders, and to spread the Bogomil sect “Bosnian Church”. To indicate the single central European diplomatic Latin formula of writing Latin documents we selected and analyzed two samples (ban and royal documents) of Bosnian origin: Latin documents of Bosnian Ban Prijezda from the 1287, and Latin documents of Bosnian king Tvrtko I from 1375. Besides paleograhically-diplomatic features most of the Bosnian surviving documents were written according to the so-called. Roman common law, but there are other legal provenance.
