Summary/Abstract: The problem of personal information security in modern society is considered. The analysis of the regulatory and legal support of information security of society and the individual, conceptual approaches to the study of the essence and content of information security of the individual. The understanding of information security of a person as an integral quality of a person has been substantiated. The essence and content of personal information security has been determined.
