Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence, coping with stress and job satisfaction in a group of temporary employment agency employees (N = 31). Researches, in which were used the Job Satisfaction Scale, Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (INTE) and Stress Management Questionnaire (CISS) showed significant relationships between the variables studied. The task-related stress management style (p = 0.003) as well as general emotional intelligence (p < 0.001) and its two dimensions: the ability to use emotions (p < 0.001) and the ability to recognize them turned out to be significant correlates of job satisfaction (p = 0.01).
