Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to analyze the features of the formation of oratory and study the aspects of its use by people in the sphere of leisure and art. Due to the transformational processes observed in modern culture, oratory is an integral component of professional activity in the event field. The research methodology involves the use of an analytical method to highlight the features of public speaking. The method of synthesis is used to identify the basic factors that must be taken into account in the process of mastering the art of public speaking. The scientific novelty is that for the first time aspects of the application of public speaking in the field of event management, leisure industry and culture have been revealed. Oratory is an important part of the presentation of cultural products and works of art because there is an inseparable link in the perception of the quality of the object and the subject that produces and reproduces it. Conclusions. Public speaking occupies an important place in modern culture. Historically, it has been an integral part of the activities of lawyers, politicians, civil servants, and teachers. With the development of the socio-cultural sphere, the need to educate this complex of skills among employees of event management and the leisure industry is becoming more urgent. The growing role and significance of the media space necessitate the formation of personnel that will contribute to the promotion of cultural and artistic products, which is not least achieved with the help of eloquence. The complex of means that should be taken into account when developing public speaking skills covers linguistic, technical, psychological, pedagogical, and logical factors.
