Summary/Abstract: The paper proposes to interpret the case of the intellectual community known as “The Burning Bush” from the perspective of the totalitarian and revisionist models in historiography. Starting from a general discussion about the totalitarian and the revisionist school in Stalinist studies, the research discusses whether it is valid to compare the activity and experience of the “Burning Bush” intellectuals and clergy with different forms of resistance to the communist regime (the so-called “resistance through culture” and “resistance through faith”).
