Summary/Abstract: The following article tries to reflect the actual state of the colocation concept in the legal language. The main purpose of this article is to analyse those studies that have been done in relation to the language used in the field of law and how these colocations are seen within. The article will also analyse the possible classifications that could be used to analyse the texts or legal speeches and the application this could have in other areas of knowledge or in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language.
