Summary/Abstract: One of the artistic centers, where Bessarabian painters not only studied the arts and exhibited after 1920, but also lived after 1945, was Bucharest. In the catalogs of the Society of Fine Arts in Chisinau we find names that are no longer found in the post-war period of the Moldovan RSS, the majority being in Bucharest. Tania Baillayre, Gheorghe Ivancenco, Gheorghe Ceglocoff, Natalia Bragalia, Ira Caufman, Anatol Cudinoff, Maia Starcevschi, Irina Filatiev, Natalia Danilcenco and Victor Rusu-Ciobanu et al. or had integrated into the cultural environment of the Kingdom for several decades. Activating in various fields, the representatives of Bessarabia brought made their contribution in to the Romanian painting, scenography and graphic arts from the pre-war and post-war period. This moment In particular, this refers to the scenography and graphics that undoubtedly marked the approached topics, specific and common to these periods, through originality and an extraordinary reflection. The works of the Bessarabians were widely publicized in an exhibition organized in Bucharest by Ruxsandra Garofeanu in 2009, thanks to the participation exhibition of works from the collections of national museums in the Republic of Moldova and Romania. For many of them, equally, few of their works are known both in Chisinau or Bucharest. The article highlights some names and their creation works in the metropolitan area of Bucharest during in the period 1920-1960.
