Summary/Abstract: Tehching Hsieh‘s work is at the same time connected with time, but he also strives to escape from it. He always seems to be within the intermediate limit of two opposites. Through his work he seeks to capture and recreate living life, but at the same time his one-year performances are associated with isolation from what is happening around him.
