Summary/Abstract: The paper examines the decorative system and iconographic program seen in Ivan Kostov‘s miniature fretwork. Themes and settings of various biblical and historical scenes presented in the crosses created by the artist are analysed. A relation between classical examples of the ecclesiastical objects and the creative interpretations of the artist has been looked for.
