Summary/Abstract: The author discusses several bibliographic aspects regarding a religious printing, Biblie. Noul Testament. Tetraevangheliar, Alep, 1708, the second edition, printed during the ages of Constantin Brâncoveanu and Antimie Ivireanu, under the cultural and religious sponsorship of the Ruler and of the Orthodox Church from Valachia, in collaboration with one of the heads of the Orthodox Church, Melkite Atanasie IV Dabbas. The expenses were covered by the great military ruler, Ivan Mazepa, of Ukraine. The book - of which the Library of the Romanian Academy owns a “unicum exemplarium” - has an outstanding cultural and historical value, being included in all the three retrospective bibliographies (of the XVIII-th century), the Romanian, the Arabian and the Ukrainean ones. It is also valuable as a piece of the bibliophile cultural patrimony.
