Summary/Abstract: Wanting to tell us about pride, which is a disease of the soul, and about humility, which is such a necessary medicine for our time and life, Christ the Savior places a publican and a Pharisee face to face. In the form of this picture, He puts forward two ways of praying, under which we humans have always imagined and discovered ourselves. Through these human patterns He plants in our souls the highest virtues that we must embrace in order to reach perfection: humility, purity, meekness. Which ones will we choose?
