Summary/Abstract: Primary goal of the text is to provide information on the design and implementation of professional practices of students at the Jan Amos Komenský University in Prague s.r.o., particularly at the Department of Special Education. Practice is here perceived as an essential means for the development of professional competencies of future special pedagogues and pedagogues of resocialization and penitentiary pedagogy. Meeting the pedagogical reality during the study is necessary and these facts, including the characteristics of the socio-demographic structure of students,are described in the text resulting from the professional analysis of the questionnaire survey, which was completed by 501 respondents / students.
