WEBSITE AS A DOCUMENTARY INFORMATIONAL SYSTEM OF AGENCY OF SHEVCHENKO NATIONAL RESERVE IN THE UNIFIED INFORMATIONAL SPACE

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to make an analysis of the structure, contents, and functional peculiarities of the website as a component of the documentary informational agency of Shevchenko National reserve in the only informational space. The methodology of the investigation consists of the use of the complex of the general scientific methods: analysis, synthesis, formal logics, modeling, and visualization of the results of the investigation. The scientific newness consists in the complex analysis of the website of Shevchenko National reserve as a component of the documentary informational system, development of an optimized structure and segmentation of its documentary and semantically filling. The conclusions. The conducted analysis of website contents of Shevchenko National reserve let to identify the strong both strong and weak points of its documentary informational agency in the only informational space that certified the necessity of the modernization of the website in the part of the optimization of its structure, navigation and semantic filling on the basis of its priority and availability. Based on this, the proposed variant of the website optimization is aimed at simplification of the structure and headings of the main menu and their correspondence of the informational filing, navigation of website (that will simplify the process of searching of the necessary information for visitors) interface via replacement of separate headings of the text by the understandable for visitors sign systems), access to reference information that causes the rising of interest at visitors of the website, and also at the providing of access of visitors to the open data basis and catalogs of editions and documents, the possibility of the direct addressing modification from the main page to the official pages of the reserve in social networks, the working of a minimum bilingual version of the website (Ukrainian, English), access to static structure of the website of elements of interactive co-working with visitors and reverse connection and so on. Consideration of the earlier outlined advises and offers will promote the website modernization from the position of coverage of different target groups of visitors, will provide the appropriate communication and will, promote its entrance in the only informational space as an institution with powerful documentary informational resource potential that is attractive for the world community.
