Summary/Abstract: Contemporary art in Kosovo was not born from the influence of any particular theory, but from a major discrepancy that the young generation of Kosovar artists encountered in the 90’s of the last century, comparing the mainstream of modern Kosovar art of the 60- 90’s with the contemporary world art, which they knew only through books and rare monographies which arrived in Kosovo.
