Summary/Abstract: Bajrush Mjaku (1952) is a well-known Albanian actor. He completed his acting studies in Prishtina, and took leading roles in many productions in Macedonia, Kosova and Albania, where he has won prizes for his masterly performances. He has played diverse characters in the masterpieces of Shakespeare, Chekhov, Ibsen, Strindberg, Brecht and more, and was much celebrated for his performances of the role of Poprishchin in Gogol’s Diary of a Madman.
