The dissemination of patient confessions (newspapers, interviews, memories) is related to the emancipation and autonomy of the (suffering) entity and the crisis of the private sphere in the contemporary culture. In the age of culture of exhibition, all taboo subjects have been abolished. The media are very keen to discuss issues related to cancer, especially when they concern celebrities.
