Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to analyze changes in Polish recycling relating to the regional diversification. Analyzed data come from surveys of official statistics, especially from the publication ”Ochrona środowiska” (Environment). In 2009 the total produced waste quantity (excluding municipal waste) was lower than in 2002. Increasing municipal as well as selective collected waste has been observed since 2005. Quantities of the land-filled municipal waste decreased. But this continues to be a dominant way to neutralize waste.
