Summary/Abstract: The paper presents changes that have taken place at the cross-border market-places in Cieszyn, with a particular emphasis on two of them, located in Łyska and Kato-wicka Streets. Since the end of the 1990s, they have been gradually shrinking both in terms of the number of consumers and the number of stalls. Nevertheless, they still constitute one of the most important forms of commercial activity in Cieszyn.
