Summary/Abstract: This study is focused on the development of the settlement and property structures of the Český Brod region between the medieval transformation and the end of the Hussite uprisings. It depicts the old settlement area and the diverse mosaic of the founding power groups — the local minor nobility, the Prague (arch)diocese, other ecclesiastical institutions, Prague burghers and the marginal influence of the king and his towns.
