A GENERAL REVIEW ON THE OF EFFECTS OF COVID 19 PANDEMIC

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to explore how the pandemic of COVID-19 have –and possibly still- effecting different industries around the world. Since the common believe is that pandemics effect economies in a negative way, we aimed to review the work done in relation to the current COVID-19 pandemic, in the purpose of obtaining a more clear view, on how does it effects each industry separately. We reviewed papers assessing the effect of COVID-19 pandemic on: aviation, tourism, restaurants and cutlery, food, gaming, professional sport, and medial supplements industries. The researches had data collected on both. The findings shows that in most industries, the effect was negative, yet in numerous cases, the pandemic was an opportunity for growth, also it presents the degree of severity to which each industry was effected. Businesses losses varied between temporarily setbacks to bankruptcy on the negative spectrum. The review points to the fields that are effected the most during the pandemic, which in return guides researchers in the direction that needs more focus in future researches, in the hope of recovering from the side effects of the pandemic.
