Summary/Abstract: Language is the most developed communication space that takes place in base of social relationship. It has regulatory action In people’s daily life , academic learning and all areas of the social life both in writing and orally. Native language education is based four language skills by way of Turkish lesson. These are listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Language learning areas should be assimilated in individuals, to reach language education its goal and consist of a common language. Listening skill is the first skill that emerged in individuals all learning areas so it is very important point to be an effective language habit. The aim of this study is determining listening following texts which is representation of Turkish testbooks in secondary schools. In this study analysis method is used that is one of qualitative research method. As A data collection tool, A 5th grade, three 6th grade, three 7th grade and A 8th grade Turkish testbook are analysed. Looking at the results, it has been found that there is no standart in text types of class levels and in testbooks.
