Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the legal aspects of the offices in canonical chapters in the light of binding regulations. The first part depicts the issue of chapter offices prescribed by the Code of Canon Law of 1983. The second part outlines the problems of chapter offices set out in the chapter’s statutes. The third part deals with the offices entrusted to clergymen not being the members of the chapter, providing help to the canons.
