Summary/Abstract: Man is the object of scientific and philosophical reflection, but they differ in the way they are presented. The language of science, similary to everyday language, which operates the terms abstracted from observation of things, is not an appropriate instrument to learn the human existence sensu stricte. Existential philosophy explores this ontological dimesion of existence, which cannot be grasp by disciplinary sciences, hence the present work referring to the issue of “time-self consciousness” by Jean-Paul Sartre. I tried to create a picture from the “fetus” to a specific existence. In other words: from the ontological sphere, being-in-itself, in comparison to being-for-itself, and the consequences they bringing, ending with specific heroes of Sartre’s novels and dramas.
