Summary/Abstract: The article aims to show the main features and trends of crime in Europe. The author, referring to police sources, in particular based on the data of the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation – Europol, presents selected crime phenomena that this organization considered particularly dangerous, paying particular attention to their organized nature. The study discusses, inter alia, such criminal phenomena as: terrorism, drug trafficking, human trafficking, cybercrime, economic crime in its various forms, stadium and motorcycle crime, car crime, juvenile delinquency and environmental crime. In the final part of the study, the author presented proposals for improving police cooperation in combating organized crime.
