The importance and impact of proper education of judges and prosecutors on protection in criminal proceedings of a minor’s right to protection against secondary victimization and the right to prepare to attend the hearing

Summary/Abstract: Minors interrogated in criminal proceedings have the right to be prepared for this procedural act and that law enforcement and judicial authorities perform their duties to protect him from secondary victimization. Unfortunately, according to the case file, despite the constant amendment to the regulations and devoting more attention to the importance of the minor’s testimony in the criminal trial, the rights of the minor are still not respected, and the procedural authorities do not always deal with the interrogation of the minor. The purpose of the article is to show how important the role of proper education of judges and prosecutors on the questioning of minors is at the legal studies stage.
