Summary/Abstract: The conflict between Israel and Palestine is categorised as one of the most intractable and complex conflict of the modern era. Since the 1967 War between Israel and a coalition of Arab states over the question of Palestine, the international community have been unable to develop a sustainable solution. Instead, what has been experienced is frequent pockets of violence between the Palestine and Israel with Palestinians frequently experiencing disproportionate impacts of the conflict. This article examines the Israel-Palestine conflict and argues that the continued occupation of Occupied Palestinian Territories by Israel has created several social and economic impacts on Palestinians. The study emphasises that some of the policies adopted by the government of Israel to maintain domination over Palestinians are discriminatory and constitute apartheid policy.
